General information

With 125 years of history and in the heart of Jesmond, Newcastle Cricket Club provides a friendly welcome 364 days of the year. Through our partnership with the Royal Grammar School, the club is open to all in the community who want to watch or participate in sport. Following our recent £140k refurbishment we offer activities to all ages genders and abilities whether you’re interested in playing cricket, disability activities, relaxing in our pavilion bar, celebrating a wedding or just wanting to sit in the sun and watch a bit of cricket.

MEN’S SENIORS
We have four senior men’s teams. Our first, second and third teams who play in the North East Premier League as well as a mid-week C Division team playing in the Northumberland League. All new members welcome- call or email us by following the link below or drop into the nets.

Training:
-Tuesdays from 6pm- 1st and 2nd XI training
-Thursdays from 6pm- Full club training

WOMEN’S SENIORS
We are delighted to offer two ways to become involved in women’s cricket:
-Weekly workout on Monday evenings- all welcome, no experience necessary!
-Our development squad plays 8-a-side matches in the Northumberland

Women’s Development League. If you’re age between 14 and 104, you’re very welcome to get involved.
Training nights take place from 6.30 till 8pm (weather permitting).

THE WASPS- Newcastle Cricket Club Juniors
The WASPS provide youngsters the opportunity for youngsters to get involved in crickets on both a competitive and recreational level:
-Junior Training – every Friday evening, 6.30 till 8pm throughout the season from April through till September for ages 7 to 15. All abilities welcome, no experience required.
-Competitive Cricket – we have five teams for both boys and girls who play within the Northumberland League championship for under 13s. For more information, contact us at nccjuniors@hotmail.co.uk

ROOM HIRE
The newly refurbished Pavilion offers a unique venue at a remarkably reasonable rate. It’s the perfect venue for your event, all year round. Including:
