Action Language PRO

General information

Action Language is a social enterprise that provides free English lessons to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. We provide classes for 6 different ability levels beginning at Pre-entry up to Level 2. Each lesson is taught by a qualified teacher who is supported by a team of motivated and enthusiastic volunteer teaching assistants.

We also offer an intensive 75 hour ESOL for Employability course for learners who are eligible to work in the UK and have achieved Level 3 in English. The course is designed to give learners the confidence, skills and knowledge to be able to gain employment in the UK and topics covered include CV writing, interview practice, health and safety and employee rights. Courses are ran at regular intervals throughout the year.

Action Language is a project within Action Foundation which supports refugees, asylum seekers and migrants through language classes and supported housing.
