Milton Keynes Museum is a fascinating outing for all ages, with more to see and do than can possibly be crammed into a single visit.
Based in the peaceful surroundings of Stacey Hill Farm, your visit begins in the old farmhouse where the Victorian parlour, scullery and kitchen have been lovingly recreated.
Very popular with all our visitors are the extensive toy collection, a Victorian schoolroom, the street of shops (how many things do you recognise?), while outside you can visit the kitchen garden and experience and air raid in the Anderson shelter.
An exploration of our website will show you that this is just the start, with our transport museum featuring a full size tram, the farming gallery, print shop, chapel and water wheel also to see.
New for 2013 is the Connected Earth gallery, which tells the story of human communication from fire beacons through to the digital revolution.
All this, plus a great tea room, regular events, displays, recreations and family days part of the Milton Keynes Museum experience too.

Run primarily by volunteers, you'll find the Museum on the outskirts of Wolverton, Britain’s first railway town. When new the farmstead was surrounded by countryside but today it overlooks Milton Keynes, the UK's largest and most recent new city.
