General information
Graffiti House creates sustainable and long term income opportunities for individuals in Ghana. We believe in establishing a close relationship with our partners and provide continuous support for as long as required. To achieve our goals we enlist the help of volunteers interested in any of our projects and/or volunteers with specific knowledge in any of our project areas as follows:
Fashion & Textiles
We support several sewing houses in developing their business and to access a wide variety of local and international markets. This project mainly supports female workers, as traditionally most of the sewing houses are owned by female entrepreneurs.
Agriculture and Horticulture
We establish connections with individuals and organisations in the farming community to support with long term growth and can supply plants from our nursery as well as provide suitable land.
The cultivation of the moringa tree has proven to be a good source of income generation.
Construction
We encourage individuals to use sustainable materials in construction of homes and provide training as well as the required tools. Bricks are manually produced from locally sourced red soil known as laterite.
Whilst there is no compromise in the quality of construction it makes housing affordable.
