The clinic opened on a part-time basis in 1994. It has expanded since 2000, when Stuart Nottingham retired from working as a physiotherapist for professional sports teams. In 2003 the practice moved to its home in Barbourne, Worcester, where it continues to grow. Stuart handed over the reins to Charlotte Harris in April 2017, who aims to maintain the quality of care BPP has a reputation for, in addition to increasing the number of services on offer to patients. The clinic treats self-referred patients, patients who are privately insured and patients who are referred from their employers to hasten their return to work.
