At Kip McGrath York West we focus on English and maths tuition and we welcome all students aged 4 – 16 years, teaching from Key Stage 1 to 4. Both centre directors, David Hardy and Ruth Dawber, are qualified teachers and have a wealth of experience to bring to the centre.
Success in learning helps to boost a child’s self-esteem and encourages a positive attitude towards learning. Kip McGrath has been the leader in after school tuition for 40 years, focusing on English, reading, spelling, comprehension and maths. We create individual learning programmes specifically designed to suit your child’s needs, each 80 minute session includes one-on-one attention with a tutor, and a combination of carefully constructed written and computer based activities in a small group learning environment. We provide support for the 11+, SAT and GCSE English and maths. We are OFSTED Registered and we welcome Childcare Vouchers and Tax Credits. You’ll be kept informed with ongoing progress reports and regular tutor feedback.
