Since 1939, York CVS has been giving sound financial, legal and management advice to local charities, community groups and social enterprises – helping turn their ideas into a reality. It might be a group that gives disabled residents a voice. Or a support network for young carers. It could be a passionate lobbying group to protect the local area. York CVS looks after the finer details, so the organisations we support can carry on improving and enriching the lives of local people.
Many of our services are available for free. Which is surprising, because in our 75 years we’ve built up expertise and knowledge that is unrivalled anywhere else in the city.
