York Learning's main focus is to support lifelong learning, develop people's skills and qualifications and help those seeking to return to the labour market.
What we do:
Improve the quality of peoples lives by helping them gain skills to improve their health and well being with a wide range of part time adult education courses
Deliver a range of programmes to prepare people for work
Provide qualifications and skills for work, including supporting young people who or not in education, employment or training
Support those who want a qualification whilst in work, mainly though apprenticeships for young people and adults and flexible learning
Help local employers to improve the qualification levels of their workforce and increase their contribution to the economy
Help people improve their English and maths skills and gain a qualification.
