Shipton Community Centre

General information

There are many attractions and dining facilities, including a large country pub-restaurant called the Dawnay Arms and the El Treno Greek-Italian restaurant which is coupled with the unique Sidings Hotel created from historic railway carriages. Also the village offers a Community Centre which hosts a wide variety of activities such as Dog Training, Badminton, Fitness, Brownies, Dance and Music practice, as well as parties, fundraisers and other events. The Church Of England holds regular services in Shipton. The Forest of Galtres Primary School looks after children in Shipton and surrounding villages. Shipton is home to and nurtures many small and large local businesses.
