More House is provided by the Diocese of Middlesbrough as the Catholic Chaplaincy to The University of York, and it is served by the Carmelite Friars of the British Province of Carmelites (www.carmelite.org/york).
This group page will give details of events and activities organised by the Chaplaincy and others at More House, and hopefully provide a forum for discussion.
More House is open Monday - Friday and after Mass on Sunday during term time, and seeks simply to provide a place of welcome for all who wish to come, regardless of faith or way of life.
More House is also the base for some other Carmelite ministries, including the Catholic Chaplain to York Hospitals and Hospice, and Communications & Outreach Office of the British Province of Carmelites.
