WE ARE CURRENTLY RECRUITING CARE WORKERS:
No NVQ needed but experience and own transport are essential.

Acorn Care Services care passionately about our clients and their families. We understand the need for professional and friendly assistance and we pride ourselves on providing the highest levels of care in your home.

For many reasons life can change and we may end up needing support in keeping our independence, managing the house and domestics or managing our health.

Acorn Care have fantastic experienced care workers and domestic assistants who are CRB checked. We are also registered with the Care Quality Commission.

Acorn Care offer a FREE no obligation assessment so you can ask the questions you need answered too.

We offer a wide variety of services including:
Personal Care Tasks.

Assistance with mobility.
Assistance with getting in and out of bed.
Assisting with medication following advice from other professionals.
Assisting with toileting needs, to include emptying commodes.
Bathing, washing, showering and hair care.
Dressing and undressing.
Hospital discharge assistance.
Mouth, teeth and denture care.
Finger nail care; Care workers are not permitted to cut toe nails.
Selection. preparation and feeding of meals.

Household Tasks:

Cleaning brass and silver ware.
Cleaning cupboards and drawers.
Cleaning internal windows.
Cleaning ovens both internally and externally.
Cleaning sinks, toilets and baths.
Defrosting fridges and freezers.
Drying laundry.
Dusting.
Emptying rubbish bins.
Ironing.
Laundry.
Making Beds
Polishing.
Vacuuming.
Washing floors.
Washing up.
Washing floors.

Other Duties Include:
Companionship and conversation,
Maintaining contact with your social circle.
Shopping.
We are also able to offer the use of a wheelchair f you wish the care worker to take you shopping, for coffee or lunch or social outings.

Our other services available include:
Mobile Hairdresser- services invoiced through Acorn Care.
Home visiting Chiropodist- fully vetted by Acorn - paid direct.
