The Damon brace system

Invisalign
Nearly invisible, removable aligners are custom manufactured for your own teeth. Whitening

How do we whiten teeth at Highview Dental Practice?
We begin with an initial consultation to check that our system is suitable for you
Next, we establish the colour of your teeth and discuss the colour you wish to achieve
Impressions of your upper and lower teeth are then taken to make whitening trays for home use
At the whitening appointment, gel is carefully applied to your teeth
This is then activated by the gentle light system, which is repeated up to twice more before you leave
The whitening process can then be continued at home using your custom whitening trays

Dental implant procedures

Whether you’re missing teeth following an accident, decay or gum disease, dental implants are a permanent solution with a natural look. Essentially a substitute for a natural root, implants are a highly reliable form of treatment.
During an initial consultation, our dentists will determine whether this procedure is appropriate for you and create a treatment plan accordingly. We recognise implant dentistry might be daunting, so always ensure our clients are informed and relaxed at each stage of the process.

How many teeth can be supported by
implant dentistry?
If you are missing just one natural tooth, then one implant is normally all that will be needed to provide a replacement.
Larger spaces created by two, three or more missing teeth do not necessarily need one implant per tooth. The exact number of implants will depend upon the quality and volume of bone at each potential implant site.
In the upper jaw, bone density is generally poorer than in the lower. If you have no teeth at all, most treatable providers will want to place a minimum of 6 dental implants to support a complete arch of 10 or more replacement teeth.
In the lower jaw, the bone towards the mouth is often very strong and as a direct result, fewer implants may be needed. A simple treatment to provide 10 or more teeth in the lower jaw might be possible with as few as 4 implants, although it is common to use 5 or 6.
