Hudson-Swan is primarily an engineering company that employs youngsters in an Apprentice Programme, to inspire and develop them as engineers for the future.

Hudson-Swan apprenticeships are delivered by accredited training providers and incorporate academic learning skills linked to on the job training within our workshops.
We realise and understand that it is vital, not just for our Company, but also for the young people in our area, to be given an opportunity to develop a career, initially within the local industrial economy, but ultimately a long term career within the manufacturing industry worldwide.
We encourage our apprentices to actively contribute to the success of the area as well as to become involved within the community.
We also ensure that all our apprenticeships are sustainable so that upon completion, we can offer full time employment. This is of paramount importance to us, to give the young people hope and commitment that there is a good future in that their endeavours result in employment.
Hudson-Swan apprenticeships offer a good and sound foundation for any interested young people who have a desire to progress, not just within the typical areas of Machining and Welding/Fabrication, but also within Business Administration/Logistics and Quality Assurance areas.
