General information
If you already know us there will be no need for introductions. However, for those of you that have not heard of us, we thought it would be polite to introduce ourselves!
The Waverley Hotel Workington is situated in the historic coastal town of Workington, Cumbria.
Delwyn and Lynn Pears (thats me!) are the proud owners of the Waverley Hotel and have successfully corun the hotel for over 25 years – if we do say so ourselves.
We want our guests to feel that the hotel is ‘home from home’ environment. The hotel has a large bar area and restaurant which seats up 175 guests.
Our chefs (and Del who also cooks great steaks!) take great pride in home ‘pub grub’ style cooking, using fresh ingrediants and locally sourced produce where possible.
The hotel has 25 en suite bedrooms, 4 standard rooms and a selection of individually designed superior suites giving a maximum occupancy of 50 guests.
Finally to finish our little biog overview, the hotel has two main function suites (plus the cosy bar area of course!) that can cater for Weddings, Conferences, Parties and any other special occasions. Whatever the occasion, whatever the budget, we can cater for any event large or small.
