Built in the Regency period between 1818 and 1820, the castle commands magnificent panoramic views of the beautiful Sussex countryside, providing a stunning backdrop for weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.

In winter, the castle provides a beautiful and cosy setting, with a choice of three rooms to hold the ceremony. The intimacy of the Moncrieff Room, or the Victorian charm of the Winter Garden, with its ever changing display of exotic plants, are ideal for smaller weddings; while the grandeur of the Drawing Room works well for larger numbers. In summer, the landscaped gardens burst to life and the newly restored Walled Garden is a magical place to exchange vows.
