ThomasHaywood is a niche firm of solicitors specialising in all aspects of family law, litigation and mediation.

By keeping to their specialist subjects, Sarah and Jill can ensure their respective teams provide a quality and individual service to each client.

Sarah specialises in all aspects of family law, with a particular focus on complex financial disputes and children matters.

She is also a mediator. ThomasHaywood has an impressive track record of handling high-value, complex matrimonial, financial and children matters.

We continue to focus on particularly complex financial and children matters, including those with international aspects. We continue to act for a significant number of wealthy clients, including those with successful family businesses and/or family money. Highlights this year include acting in a number of cases with assets of up to £10 million, as well as an ongoing High Court case involving extremely complex family businesses/trust structures.

We act for clients in matters involving assets abroad, as well as for non-domiciled individuals pursuing proceedings in the UK. Over the past year, for example, we have acted in matters involving parties and/or assets in Europe and the US.

Our children expertise includes handling residence and contact issues, removal of children from the jurisdiction, and other specific issues such as child abduction and schedule 1 Children Act applications.
