The Scottish Legal Practice of J. & H. Mitchell W.S. was founded in Highland Perthshire in 1836. Situated in Pitlochry, near the very centre of Scotland, the firm has occupied its current premises since 1965 and has had a Branch Office in The Square, Aberfeldy, since 1966.

Our relationship with our clients is what is most important to us. We combine the knowledge which comes from being long-established with a modern and friendly approach. We work hard to get to know our clients, so that we deal with people and not just with their problems.

We have a client base throughout Highland Perthshire, many other parts of Scotland, England and overseas. Our location is ideal, being within easy reach of all parts of Scotland, whilst enjoying the benefits of a rural base, well away from city stress, in a wonderful environment.

We advise on matters large and small, in language our clients can understand, so as to achieve your outcomes in the most cost-effective way. Our comprehensive approach, with specific specialities, is delivered by a dedicated team of partners and long-serving staff.
