General information
Peter Blundell was one of the wealthiest merchants of Elizabethan, England and died in 1601. In his will he left money and lands to help found a school in his home town in his hope to help maintain “sound learning and true religion.” Since its creation in 1604 Blundell’s continues to be a strong school both in terms of academics and sporting achievements and takes great honour in producing Old Boys and Girls that continue through life upholding Blundell’s values.
