General information

The Tafarn y Bont, formerly known as the Bridgend Inn, is a beautiful country pub set at the edge of the Brecon National Park, and a stones throw away from the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal. Dating back 400 years it still retains an exclusive rustic charm, It sports a large car park to the rear together with a fabulous brook-side beer garden. Our food is very reasonably priced and you can eat with confidence knowing that we have recently been awarded (July 2014) a 5 star rating under the Food Standards Agency's food hygiene rating system. Since the change of ownership (and change of name) in late January of this year (2014) the pub is enjoying a level of trade not seen for many a year.
