General information

In 2000 Vicky Jewson created a film production company where she and other producers could create independent feature films. In 2006 the first of these Lady Godiva was filmed in England and France. It opened in cinemas in 2008 to a mixed reaction. However Vicky continued to grow the company and partnered with her creative-director Rupert Whitaker in 2009. Together they wrote the story for the feature film Born Of War. This film has been well received by the industry, and was picked up by Arclight films for worldwide sales. It has begun it’s worldwide release pattern opening in Cinemas in Japan on 1st February 2014, and will be released in the UK later this year.

Jewson Film attracted three high profile executive producers in 2013, Mich Southworth (credits) Martin McCabe (credits) and Julia Verdin (credits). Jewson Film have two films now in development for production in 2015 and are expanding to represent other first-time directors. Jewson Film is based just outside of London and has post-production facilities in house. In 2010 Jewson Film partnered DG Productions and brought MD Daniel Gabriel onboard as Associate producer for his expertise in marketing, design, development packaging, production and post-production services.
