General information

Traditional friendly pub, tucked away in Wilberforce Street, past the famous Shark, first left then first right.

We generally keep at least 4 and usually 5 real ales on, including regularly changing seasonal and guest beers. A good range of wines - including fizz for those special occasions - spirits and soft drinks complete the picture. With a cosy woodburner for the cold nights and a pretty terrace garden to enjoy the sunshine, there's something for everyone all year round.

We have (amongst other things!) a range of board games, a covered smoking area, plenty of teas, coffees, hot chocolate, and dog biscuits for our canine customers.

New to the area? Come on your own! There are always friendly faces both sides of the bar.

Good home cooked pizzas, pies and other pub classics served 7 days a week:

Mon-Sat: 12 noon - 2pm and 6pm - 9pm
Sundays: 12 noon - 3pm and 7pm - 9pm

Please note, our normal menu is available in full on Sundays, but we don't do a roast lunch.
