The North Wall Arts Centre

The North Wall is an Art Centre in Oxford that has been created for the benefit of emerging artists across a range of disciplines. Based on the campus of St Edwards School, its core mission is educational and through its outreach work it aims to bring aspiring artists from across the nation together with cutting edge Theatre, Dance, Film and Music professionals. It seeks to break down barriers to both participation and careers in the arts. It is also a valued resource for the local and wider Oxfordshire community.

Completed in 2006, this award winning facility offers a fully flexible 250-seat theatre, a public art gallery and studios for dance and drama. The programme of events at The North Wall places emphasis on new and innovative work. In the current economic climate, it has never been more important to offer opportunities to companies committed to developing and creating new work. Inventiveness is the key. We at the North Wall are determined to take risks and support new artistic directions.
