General information
Market Harborough Drama Society (MHDS) is the Charitable Incorporated Organisation that owns and runs Harborough Theatre. Run entirely by volunteers the society presents professional quality productions throughout a season which runs from October to July.
The theatre building has stood in its town centre location since 1935 but only became a permanent home for MHDS in 1969. It now boasts a 118 seat auditorium, bar, and lounge which is configured as a flexible performance space. Fully accessible the theatre also hosts regular film nights, organised by our sister organisation, Octagon Films, national filmed theatre events, live music and comedy.
