OPEN 7 days a week - 10 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday, 10 am till late Saturday and 12 pm to 5 pm Sunday.
Atlantic Islands Centre is a mainly volunteer run Visitor & Community Centre on the Isle of Luing. We offer a popular café/restaurant; a showcase of Luing History Group’s collection and informative, changing exhibitions on two floors. These focus on the natural and cultural heritage of Luing and the other Atlantic Islands of Argyll. We also hold regular art exhibitions and events such as family friendly theatre, concerts and talks.
The Centre has stimulated community engagement and encourages local businesses to develop. The Atlantic Islands Centre is a major catalyst for achieving the Isle of Luing Community Trust's aim of strengthening the Luing community.
The Centre has been funded by the Big Lottery Fund, the European Regional Development Fund, the Scottish Government Climate Challenge Fund, Bòrd na Gàidhlig, the Robertson Trust, Hugh Fraser Foundation, Health & Wellbeing Network and individual donations.
