Stornoway Historical Society covers the old burgh of Stornoway plus the villages of Laxdale, Benside , Guershader, Newvalley, Newmarket, Marybank, Plasterfield, Steinish, Sandwick, Parkend and Melbost. We publish our magazine SY Gone By bi-annually every July and December. Our committee meets monthly except for March, July and December.
