General information

Umbrella provides insurance cover that allows brands (and their agencies) to launch high-impact promotions at a fixed cost.

Without risk cover, brands are limited by their promotional budget, in terms of how many prizes/gifts they can offer as an incentive. If they offer a £1million prize fund, they need to have the budget available to cover that amount should it be won. And few budgets can afford this!

However with Umbrella's 'Fixed Fee' approach, brands are able to afford much bigger & better prizes/gifts, because it is Umbrella who takes on the risk of all the winnings/claims. So suddenly brands can afford the £1million prize fund, because instead of reserving budget for the entire amount, they simply pay a minimal fixed fee at the onset.
