The Bench is an exciting and innovative new Bar and Restaurant on Ramsgate’s beautiful harbour. With its stunning design and unique concept in wine service, it is the first of its kind in Kent and beyond.

With a cellar of over 60 wines, our beautiful WineEmotion dispensing machines allow you to sample every one of them by the glass at the perfect temperature. Our wine expert John Macdougall has carefully chosen each bottle, and is on hand to take you on an exciting journey; making recommendations for the best wine for your meal, or showing you how to make the most of our wines and dispense your own using our exciting loyalty card system.

We have worked hard to create an exclusive experience for the area and so all of our wines, as well as many of our delicious spirits, ales, beers and ciders are unique to us and can not be found on any other list locally.

Our staff are passionate about what they do, and our welcoming and friendly customer service is second to none. Everyone that walks through the door is not only given the very best in food and drink, but also the very best service.
