General information
Welcome to the Society of One Armed Golfers. We were established originally to cater for golfers who had lost limbs in the First World War. Since then we have evolved to include road accident, stroke victims, birth abnormalities and indeed any accident or incident which means the person can only play with one arm.
Every year in June the World Open Golf Championship is played for on rotation in England or Wales, Scotland and Ireland. In the Autumn time Regional open meetings are also played in these countries. Our criteria is that every shot be it tee, fairway or green must be played using only one arm, no appendages are allowed.
