Gary is regarded as a leading authority within the design industry. He began his career as a painter and decorator, working his way through design school, where he studied colours and textiles. For more than 20 years he divided his time between Hampshire and Cornwall, establishing himself as a top notch designer.

In 1999 Gary decided to put his roots firmly down in Hampshire and founded Decoration by Design. In no time at all he became so highly sought after, he was asked to design for well known personalities and invited to make guest appearances on breakfast TV programmes such as This Morning.

Gary’s ability to visualise and interpret the needs of his clients is unmatched. Because of the dedication to his clients and the achievement of their design goals, whether they are looking to decorate one room or looking to have a complete renovation, Gary will work directly on each project in order to ensure the end result exceeds his clients expectations.
