We all enjoy life's simple things! Like walking your dog on a misty morning, always having a loyal companion by your side, and knowing that you are feeding your dog a wholesome and natural diet.

For over 40 years Forthglade have been making nutritionally balanced and delicious pet food for dogs in the heart of the Devon countryside.

Forthglade products are made with natural ingredients that are locally sourced wherever possible, vacuum sealed and gently cooked to retain all that natural goodness.

We use natural ingredients to make our products and we all know that from time to time natural products vary in texture, flavour, and colour.

At Forthglade we don’t believe in compromising our beliefs by adding artificial flavours, colours or preservatives to change the very nature of the product. We believe careful ingredient sourcing and handling helps us to deliver a high quality and natural product.

We only use fresh meat that is fit for human consumption and make sure all other ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers. In addition, we firmly believe our customers should know what goes into our products so we aim to be transparent in our ingredients labeling.

We are regularly inspected by the AHVLA (Defra), Trading Standards and our customers. Our products undergo stringent external product testing to ensure we meet our obligations to you our customer.

Forthglade is located deep in the heart of the Devon countryside.

Working and living in such a beautiful environment installs a responsibility on us all and on the Company to focus on reducing unnecessary waste and harm to the environment.

A Natural Diet

We are constantly being made aware by the media of the dangers of highly processed foods.

Medical authorities and food nutritionists are making us very aware of the damage this type of food can do, causing obesity, hyperactivity and heart and renal incapacity.

Increasingly we are being told of the same problems in our pets. At Forthglade we do understand that convenience of feeding our pets is important, but not at the cost of our pets health. Therefore, we are passionate in our belief that dogs should be fed a natural and wholesome diet.
