General information

Real Wood Studios is a non profit distributing company, run collectively by its Directors, Members and Associate Makers and Timber businesses. This reflects an ethos aimed at supporting local forestry industry and self-employed creative professionals, artists and craftsmen. With several independent makers and businesses working at Real Wood Studios, we support these professionals through continued development of our commercial activities, re-investing profits into the infrastructure and programmes of the business, at the same time promoting the best of Scottish design and production and the environmental processing and management of local timber. Maintaining Real Wood Studios as a self-sustaining social enterprise, helping individual local businesses to thrive, is our priority.
