Livestock Supplies Ltd was formed in 2003 and is run by Managing Director Ashley Latham. Ashley is third generation, following in his Father's and Grandfather's footsteps as a livestock dealer and has been involved in buying and selling livestock since 1981.

Over this time Ashley has seen a lot of changes and has adapted the structure of the business to suit modern day trading. He has always had strong links with Europe and is especially proud to be associated with Veehandel Leo Groen who are based in the Netherlands. Also Lactalis Feeds in France.

Recently Ashley was joined by Tim Heyworth. Ashley and Tim are the main faces of the company, but extra work force is brought in as and when necessary.

Ashley has been importing heifers from mainland Europe since 1990 and is proud to be associated with Veehandel Leo Groen. Ashley is only too pleased to take customers to Europe to select their own heifers, or he will select for them.

Milk Replacers:

We are very proud to be main agents of Lactalis Feed for England and Wales. All production respects the SDVF (French Calf-Rearing Syndicate) best practice charter for milk replacers for young animals. All ingredients and finished products are fully controlled by lactalis analysis laboratory, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. Together we offer a wide range of milk replacers for calves, pigs, lambs and goats.

Our main lines are:

Hiprolat +22.5%, an exceptional whey based milk replacer for dairy or beef calves for twice a day feeding.

Hiprolat 26, a whey based high protein milk replacer for the more discerning calf rearer, mainly used for dairy heifer replacements to make sure of a quick and steady growth for 2 year calving.

Elevage 50, which is a 50% skimmed milk replacer for once or twice a day feeding. The most complete milk replacer on the market. This powder will keep bloom on calves like no other and is ideal for calves being sold at 3 to 6 weeks of age, or reared on.

All our milk replacers can be bucket fed or used with automatic feeders.

We also supply Calf OTEL hutches.

CalfOtel has developed into a prominent supplier of breeding hutches for calves. The secret: top quality polyester and patented fencing. Glass fibre-reienforced polyester has a number of qualities. It is strong and sustainable. A life of thirty years is quite normal. From individual hutches to group housing CalfOtel proposes a full range of calf housing systems for outside and inside.
