Five comfy old stone cottages, all originally workers' cottages or parts of the watermill, for a self-catering holiday away from it all on the gentle green banks of a shallow, splashing trout stream in twenty acres by an historic eighteenth-century former watermill.

All our self-catering cottages are dog-friendly, have wood-burning stoves, individual character and their own garden or patio. Just a five minute drive from Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands, the Coast Path and beautiful Start Bay, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Close to the National Nature Reserve of Slapton Ley which our stream feeds.

Perfect for winding down, walking, and exploring South Devon and the South Hams.

We are dog-friendly, fun-friendly, eco-friendly, sustainable and nature loving.

Growing as much as we can of our own food on a small-holding with hens, ducks & ducklings, sheep and sometimes pigs and cows, we coppice, press apples, chop logs, and generate our own electricity from a water turbine - come and enjoy our slice of the good life....
