General information

From Father Will Hazlewood: A very warm welcome to the Parish of Dartmouth in the beautiful South Devon town of Dartmouth. Our mission is to be a growing, joy-filled, Christian presence at the heart of our community. We welcome both locals and visitors of all ages to our services. Through our three church buildings, St Clement's, St Saviour's and St Petrox, we endeavour to walk the journey of faith together, fed and nurtured by God's word and sacraments.

St Clement's, the Mother Church, has a particularly family-friendly Sung Eucharist on the first and third Sunday of the month at 11.00am and is open all day on Thursdays for midweek communion (at 9.30am), refreshments and companionship. It hosts children's workshops, especially at Easter and Christmas.

St Saviour's Church in the heart of Dartmouth is open daily, there is said Holy Communion at 8.00am each Sunday, Sung Eucharist at 11.00am on the second and fourth Sunday of the month; midweek communion at 10.00am on Wednesdays and Prayers for Peace are said on Fridays at 11.30am.

St Petrox Church at the mouth of the river is open daily during the summer months when there is a service of Choral Evensong (BCP) on Sundays at 6.30pm. During the winter months Evensong alternates between St Saviour's and St Clement's. Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer is said on the first Tuesday of the month, all year round at 10.00am.

There are resources for children at St Clement's and St Saviour's and a growing mixed age profile within the life of our church.

In addition to our worship we are involved in the life of the community, including Christians Together in Dartmouth and District and the Dartmouth Food Bank. All our church buildings are used for other activities, including bellringing, concerts (especially during the Dart Music Festival and Royal Regatta), as well as a venue for meetings of local organisations. We have an active parish choir.
