Headland View is a beautiful Victorian guest house with panoramic unobstructed sea views looking over the spectacular world heritage coast of Lyme Bay, a fabulous place to stay. Positioned directly on the Babbacombe Downs, the guest house has six individual bedrooms, with four having French doors opening on to beautiful balconies, complete with table and chairs to sit and relax while taking in the magnificent sea views. Or choose one of our delightful rear view rooms, with double or superking/twin beds. Free car parking is available on our forecourt, or free permits are supplied (July and August) for the car park to the rear of Headland View.

Headland View is part of a charming Victorian terrace, built in 1876 for Captain William Lukin and his wife Emily. The guest house has retained many of its original Victorian features and architecture including a guests’ sun lounge.
There’s a pretty dining room, adjacent to the sun lounge. Some of the tables take in the view of Lyme Bay. Which you can enjoy with your traditional and freshly prepared breakfast, or choose one of our daily specials. All accompanied by cereals, fresh fruit, fruit compote and toast with conserves and marmalade.

We will do our very best to ensure you have a relaxing and memorable stay. Headland View is a great place to stay for long or short breaks. Ideal for visiting Babbacombe theatre, Bygones in St. Marychurch, Babbacombe Cliff Railway, Babbacombe Model Village or Torquay United at Plainmoor. A perfect central location for visiting the surrounding area of Torquay, Paignton, Brixham, Dartmouth, Dartmoor and Exeter. Positioned directly on the South West Coastal Path (SWCP). Lovely blue flag beaches with a great choice of traditional English pubs and a large variety of restaurants in close level walking distance.
