Hennings Wine Merchants, set in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, has long held a reputation for being one of the leading independents in the south-east of England. Established as a single shop in Pulborough in 1960 by Charles Hennings, the business is now under its third generation of family control, with Matthew Hennings at the helm, and has recently opened its fourth shop in the historic market town of Chichester. Combined with this successful retail arm, Hennings also supplies hundreds of wholesale restaurants, bars and pubs throughout the south of England.
