Elvy Court Nursing Home enjoys a tranquil setting in a quiet residential area of Sittingbourne. Within easy walking distance of the bustling town centre and on the main bus route along the London Road, which offers access to the frequent travel connections across Kent.

Many of the staff have been part of the Elvy Court care team for over a decade and the Home enjoys a long-standing reputation for reassuring, welcoming and excellent care, delivered by kindly and dedicated professionals.

Dedicated Avery Healthcare staff, including the manager who has worked at the Home for over 11 years, provide personal care to its community of residents who rely on the highest quality of residential, nursing and dementia care.

Our recreation and leisure activities play an important role in improving both mental and physical well-being has been developed to deliver an interesting and fun diary of events for residents. Our open door policy means friends and families are welcome any time, they are encouraged to join in wherever possible.

•A busy Gardening Club currently developing sensory spaces in the grounds
•Art classes
•A Cinema Club with full size projector
•Weekly visits from the favourite petting dog
•Entertainers regularly visiting the Home

Our Care Home has its own minibus which takes residents on trips to places of interest all year round, and our full-time Activity Coordinator will continue to find new and stimulating places to visit to enrich our residents’ lives.

•Afternoon teas and visits to garden centres

Elvy Court Nursing Home ensures that everyone feels part of the community. The bedrooms are light and airy and the majority have en-suite facilities, whilst the common areas are attractively furnished with comfy chairs and sofas, occasional tables and bookcases. Many of the rooms at Elvy Court open directly into the enclosed gardens which ensure that the Home is a light, warm and homely place with its own special welcome.

•Free and unlimited WiFi for all residents and visitors throughout the Home

•Two further suites with additional space for entertaining

Elvy Court has a resident chef and an assistant who ensure that all of our guests receive the very best nutritionally balanced meals, taking into account their health considerations and dietary needs. Being aware that meal times are equally important social events, the catering team put extra effort into ensuring that there are tempting snacks, including delicious home baked cakes and fresh pastries available throughout the day, along with plates of fresh fruit, juices and drinks.

At Avery, we always uphold and respect the decisions made by our residents. We make sure to have signed permission forms for all Avery residents pictured on our social media platforms. We do not upload any photographs of residents who do not wish to be pictured on our social media.
