We are a Tradition village public house offering a unique atmosphere, real ales, fine wine, and good traditional home cooked food in a stunning rural location.

We are rated with the GOLD award for food hygiene by Stratford Council Environmental Health Department and we have achieved the accolade of winning the CAMRA award for best seasonal pub in the Shakespeare area of CAMRA (Autumn 2011).

We have live music nights, folk nights with acoustic musicians jamming together. We also hold various events over the year to help fund raise for local charities.

We are situated in the hamlet village of Barton, just 1 mile from Bidford on Avon, a stones throw from the river itself. 6 miles from Stratford upon Avon, 9 miles from Broadway, 6 miles from the market town of Evesham and just 15 miles from Warwick and its famous Castle.

Our touring campsite at the back of the pub is licensed for 24 pitches, each with electric and water hook up. Rates are based on per pitch per night and for 2013 our prices will be £18.00 per night inc electric hook up , shower, and toilet facilities. See our website for further details.
