Dunblane Nature Kindergarten is situated in the beautiful city of Dunblane, with its calm and peaceful community. There are easy links to the motorway network, excellent parking for drop off and pick up and just a short walk to the local train station. The service is very much a part of the local community making links with Dunblane, Newton and St. Mary Primary Schools, Dunblane High and Queen Victoria High and providing both nursery and out of school care services.
Playrooms & Garden
The centre is housed in two buildings, a large two storey sandstone villa and a new build single storey property each with direct access to the outdoor play areas. Each building is divided into specially designed play rooms, beautifully furnished and equipped with a plentiful range of quality resources.
Hummingbird House have 3 secure individual fun gardens for each stage of a child’s development to improve the educational experience they provide, giving the opportunity to explore and investigate a wide range of materials and enjoy physical play.
Childcare
Children are cared for by a dedicated team of childcare practitioners who work closely with parents to ensure exceptional service standards are delivered at all times. Through partnership working staff, parents and children have created a very special setting with an ethos of care and respect where each child is valued as a unique and beautiful human being. The Manager and the atmosphere Steven has created were highly commended at a national awards ceremony. The kindergarten was also recently inspected by The Care Inspectorate and achieved grades of very good and excellent.
Living Values
Dunblane Nature Kindergarten operates a living values based approach to support children’s learning and invite you for a visit to show you how the children celebrate our living values. From April through to November we focus on respect, co-operation, kindness and responsibility. From December through to March we focus on love, peace, joy, honesty, respect and co-operation.
Pre-School Funded Education
Dunblane Nature Kindergarten operates in partnership with Stirling Council and is able to provide assisted places to eligible children for pre-school education, from the term after they turn 3 years old.

Dunblane Nature Kindergarten is a recognised Investor in People, registered as an ECO schools centre and are proud holders of the Green Flag award in recognition of our commitment to being environmentally friendly.
Opening Hours
Nursery – Opening hours are Monday to Friday all year round for the following sessions:
Full Day Session: 8am to 6pm
Morning Session: 8am to 1pm
Afternoon Session: 1pm to 6pm
Out of School Club – Opening hours are Monday to Friday all year round for the following sessions:
Term Time: Morning Session: 8am to 9am, Afternoon Session: 3pm to 6pm
Holidays: Same as Nursery Opening Times
