Rooms in our newly renovated 17thc home have en suite facilities, TV/DVD , free wifi, tea and coffee making. Relaxing guest lounges. Superb breakfast to suit all needs. A rural idyll on Shropshire/Staffs border yet just 15 minutes from Stafford/M6.

The Space
Four hundred year old ex coaching inn on the banks of the river Sow in the Offley Brook conservation area. Original exposed oak timbers throughout. Breakfast in front of the original inglenook fireplace and roaring log fire when it is chilly. Newly renovated and beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms. One bed may be arranged as two singles or a super-kingsize as required.

Guest Access
Guests may relax in the lounge, conservatory or enjoy the garden. A house key is provided so you can come and go as you please. Our book and DVD collection are at your disposal

Interaction with Guests
Vicki and Ian enjoy spending time with their guests but are happy to respect any need for privacy.

The Neighbourhood
located in the West Midlands so you can enjoy all that the heart of England has to offer. On the doorstep we have the last remaining working water mill in Staffordshire. Our home baked goods are made with flour supplied by the Mill. The area is a walkers and cyclists paradise. We are just a few hundred meters from the board walks of Jacksons Marsh where you may see otters and kngfishers if you are lucky. Jacksons coppice is an adjacent ancient woodland and a place of great beauty, both being maintained by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. We are happy to recommend local pubs and restaurants if you wish.

You will need your own transport to make the most of our rural location

Other Things to Note
We take great pride in our hospitality. Breakfast is prepared from locally sourced ingredients. We have a varied breakfast menu. Fruit juices are freshly prepared and baked goods are home made using stone ground flour from Offley Mill just 100 meters away. Please advise on any special dietary needs or preferences on reservation and we shall do our best to accommodate you.
