Why the name Capabilitea? Well, the historians amongst us will have heard of an eighteen century landscape architect called Lancelot "Capability" Brown. He designed many great gardens including those of Blenheim in Oxfordshire, Chatsworth in Derbyshire, Longleat in Wiltshire, Weston Park here in Staffordshire and of course our very own Trentham Gardens, and this is where the name for our cosy, atmospheric & shabby chic Tea & Coffee Shop was born.
