Clubsub - Dive Centre

General information

Clubsub was originally established in 1996. We are proud to hold the prestigious PADI 5 Star IDC "Instructor Developement Centre" certiification. Dive Centre No S- 35338

As a 5 Star IDC Centre we can offer training from novice through to Instructor, and we run regular Instructor Developement Courses. Our Course director is Steve Prior, one of the best Course Directors in the business. Steve has many years in the dive industry and is both a Platinum Course Director and the Course Director for one of the largest and best dive operators in the red sea, Emperor Divers.

In 2006 Clubsub was voted Oceanic (UK) drysuit dealer of the year and also awarded the Gold Award for Oceanic products and service.

With a wide range of equipment on offer from leading manufacturers, full servicing on site and equipment hire.

Whilst being a professional Dive Centre and business, we still hold dear to our roots and keep the friendly club enviroment within the dive centres. The kettle is always on and everyone is welcome to call in and have a tea or coffea, and chat about diving.

The Club is continually growing and we provide numerous dive trys through out the UK and abroad, combined with none dive activities. (Christmas Party, paint ball, etc.)

Company history

Clubsub was established in 1996 in Rushden, Northants by Colin & Linda Evans. Colin was a BSAC Instructor and the a PADI Staff instructor. Through hard work and long nights they established Clubsub as a small but very high quality training establishment with a small servicing and retail shop.

In 2005 due to a change in circumstances Colin felt he could no longer provide the time and effort to take Clubsub to the next level, and thats were I came in. I bought Clubsub on the 1st October 2005 with the aim of developing a dive centre in Stoke. I live in Stoke on Trent and always felt there was a need for a Dive centre in Stoke. Using Clubsub Northants as a blue print Clubsub (Stoke) was opened on the 15th July 2006 in Shelton, Stoke on Trent.

Due to the success of Clubsub Stoke over 2006, Clubsub moved in August 2007 to is new larger and more modern premises on Werrington, Stoke on Trent. We have possible the largest selection of new Dive equipment in Staffordshire from the leading manufacturers.
