Alternatives Pregnancy Advice Centre opened in July 2009 and provides a confidential, caring and practical response to women and their partners facing an unplanned pregnancy.
We provide free pregnancy testing and information on the available options depending on the result.
We provide ongoing support for those who have post-abortion, post-miscarriage or baby-loss concerns.
We provide free Chlamydia testing; c-card registration and pick up (free condoms up to age 25).
We are the referral point for the Morning After Pill at Stamford Minor Injuries Unit (Stamford Hospital).
All of the services we provide are free and confidential.
We have a library of baby clothes and equipment (aged 0-5 years) which is a FREE resource to those who need it. We are always grateful for donations of good quality baby items.
