The Rocking Horse Nursery is one of the area’s longest established and leading childcare nurseries. We are immensely proud of our reputation and totally dedicated to giving your child the best possible start in life.

Opened in 1992 and still owned and managed by the original founder, The Rocking Horse Nursery offers a real home from home environment in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Stamford yet only a short distance from the town centre.

There are a number of flexible options for childcare.

We recognise the importance of treating each child as an individual, with equal opportunities and an open-minded approach. Our Baby, Toddler, Tweenie and Pre-school rooms are tailored to the different child development stages.

Step outside and the children have a large, fully enclosed, all-weather adventure garden to play in, to explore and enjoy with our Forestry school being developed.

Our dedicated team has many long serving members with individual years of experience in caring for and teaching children. We believe in developing our knowledge through regular in house and external training.
