Established in 1991, Ross Thain & Co Ltd has built up a solid portfolio of award winning, high quality designs both for private and commercial clients throughout the UK.

Specialist areas include residential and commercial design, planning, detailing and project management, in particular listed buildings and conservation. Our talented and highly qualified team offer a personalised, flexible service bringing knowledge and experience to each project.

Other areas of expertise include surveying, architectural design and project management for other sectors of construction, general property services and advising on and implementing renewable energy techniques.

We are a Chartered Surveying practice with both Chartered Surveyors and Architects; this combination brings a pragmatic approach to each project whilst ensuring the designs are of the highest quality.

Renewable technologies have been incorporated into our designs for over 10 years and as such we have a vast knowledge of it and experience in using it. With the Government’s Zero Carbon aims fast approaching and with stricter building regulation requirements being enforced we pride ourselves on being able to choose the best renewable method available based on each individual projects benefits and constraints whether it be new build or into an existing property.
