We are fully trained in treating animals with additional conditions such as diabetes or heart problems. We are also fully trained in animal first aid to identify (but not diagnose) symptoms that require further veterinary treatment where we would refer you back to your own vet.

Why use Hydrotherapy?
When correctly used it is a very useful tool in the treatment for a number of orthopaedic conditions or for general fitness.
Exercising in warm water has a number of benefits including reduced weight bearing and thus stress on joints, improved support for weak and unbalanced animals.

Treatment & Facilities:
At hydropets we have a fully in-ground pool that is safe and friendly for pets with reduced mobility to enter and exit with no long, hard to manage ramps

The water in the 5x3m pool is heated to 30 degreed C, which is better for your pet as it allows improved blood circulation to all of the muscles.

Our NEW canine hydrotherapy treadmill is the ultimate veterinary professional aid in the science of hydrotherapy, the canine HYDRO PHYSIO underwater treadmill series has been designed with continuous veterinary input. A 'no compromise' approach coupled with many unique features has made these canine water walkers the market leader and the first choice for veterinary surgeries and rehabilitation facilities worldwide.

We provide a pre treatment shower to warm the muscles, a post treatment shower to remove the necessary pool treatments & a full dry to keep the muscles and joints warm

An ACPAT physiotherapist (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy)

Registered hydrotherapists with NARCH (National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists), which means we are able to take clients covered by insurance.
