Welcome to Derwent Waste Management, a family owned business operating from a 10-acre waste treatment facility in Pye Bridge, Derbyshire. The site is conveniently located close to the A38 and junction 28 of the M1 allowing for a reliable service, both locally and further afield.

The site boasts a materials recycling facility allowing recyclable waste to be extracted from mixed waste streams. In addition, the site processes timber, inert construction waste, plastics, metals, paper & cardboard for either reuse or recycling. The business recycles a minimum of 80% of the material delivered to site and is continually working to improve on this through innovation and process re-engineering, both at the facility and at our customer’s sites.

• We strive to maximise the volume of waste that is recycled and where possible make payments for recyclable waste (subject to volume, material etc.) Let your waste provide you with an income.

• For unusual items that have a potential reuse value we work with local Social Enterprises that help with training & educating members of the local community. We also take pride in finding homes for unusual waste streams that others will say has no recycling or reuse potential.

• We don’t use call centres; we prefer our customers to speak to a helpful experienced member staff directly employed at the facility who are best placed to assist you with any questions or queries you may have.

• We offer a complete, one-stop service for your waste needs. We can look after your needs outside of our operating area by working with a trusted network of waste companies saving you the need the hassle of appointing numerous waste contractors. We can do all of the hard work for you allowing you to focus on your core tasks.
