Here at the University of Central Lancashire, we pride ourselves on providing a high quality, professional, and friendly service, and have a wealth of skills and experience to deliver the broadest range of products, from a simple sandwich to a prestige event for over five hundred people.

Scholars Hospitality at UCLan is the Hospitality section of The University of Central Lancashire Catering and Hospitality Service, and we provide the catering for all corporate and University events, ranging from a simple buffet to full silver served dinner. Scholars Hospitality at UCLan is here to provide refreshments to internal University meetings, conferences and functions, as well as to external events, such as weddings and birthdays.

Preston and the surrounding areas have some of the finest growers and producers of food products in the UK. Our aim is to support local producers by utilising the ever-increasing range of local produce. Our team of professional chefs produce excellent homemade dishes using, when possible, Fairtrade and locally grown produce, giving a wide choice with value for money.

All of the tea, coffee and sugar served by Scholars Hospitality at UCLan is Fairtrade, and we have a selection of Fairtrade Wines available from Scholars Restaurant & Bar.

We welcome and regularly seek feedback from all of our customers, so we may continuously improve our standard of service.
