Welcome to Rowan Veterinary Centre: Where pets always come first!

Rowan Veterinary Centre has two surgeries in the Fylde: a newly refurbished practice in Blackpool and a purpose built practice between Kirkham and Freckleton, just north of Preston. Please contact us for opening hours or visit our website rowanvets.co.uk

We provide care for small animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits guinea pigs etc. We operate our own 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year Out of Hours Service - so you will always see a vet you know at a place you know.

The values of the Rowan Veterinary Centre are still just as strong today as they always have been and with our excellent facilities here at Hillock Lane and our newly refurbished premises in Blackpool, we can offer an even better level of care for your pets.

We promise that we will always put the needs of your pet first:
- We will use the most appropriate treatment and the best drugs, regardless of profit margins and manufacturer loyalty.
- We will promote routine preventative healthcare such as regular worming, vaccination and flea treatments to keep your pet in excellent health.
- We will treat every pet with the utmost care and respect.

Appointments are available on request throughout each day (Monday to Saturday) from 8:45am and prices and estimates are available on request.

If you have a preferred surgeon, please ask the receptionist when you book. We endeavour to ensure that all animals are seen on the requested day by the vet of your choice. Where possible, treatment by the same vet is encouraged, to ensure continuity and enable any changes in the patient to be more easily recognised.

Emergency out of hours care

We provide our own 24 hour emergency care service outside these times. Please call 01722 639800 if you need this service.

Rowan Veterinary Centre operates round the clock emergency cover for our clients. We provide our own 24 hour emergency cover to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. With access to the animal’s records, treatment is provided by vets that you know in the same premises that you are used to visiting during working hours. The phones are diverted straight to the vets so that your call will be answered promptly by someone able to help.
