Lancashire Community Recycling Network

General information

Lancashire CRN is a member's organisation with membership open to organisations involved in community waste management, re-use and recycling activities (i.e. furniture reuse, business recycling services, charity retail of donated goods, real nappy promotion and use, community composting etc). We are your community waste sector support and networking agency within Lancashire and Blackpool!

Lancashire CRN is directed by a voluntary Management Committee, made up of experienced and knowledgeable representatives from member organisations. The Network is actively supported by Lancashire County and Blackpool Councils through the Lancashire Waste PFI Contract, and coordinated by the Community Sector Development Officer at Global Renewables Lancashire (GRL) on their behalf.

Membership is open to individuals, not-for-profit and charitable organisations. We also work with emerging community waste organisations or existing community organisations that wish to diversify into reuse and waste management activities. Associate membership is open to the public sector and private companies also seeking to advance their organisations' objectives.
